Bingham is a zoned township with the first zoning ordinance placed in effect on February 8, 1978.  As such, each parcel of land resides within a
specific land use district: Agricultural, Residential, Commercial and/or Industrial. 

The Bingham Township Zoning Ordinance serves as a guide for changes to existing entities (i.e., current land uses and structures), as well as for future growth and development.  The ordinance is derived from the Comprehensive Plan.
