Bingham is a zoned township with the first zoning ordinance placed in effect on February 8, 1978. As such, each parcel of land resides within a specific land use district: Agricultural, Residential, Commercial and/or Industrial. The Bingham Township Zoning Ordinance serves as a guide for changes to existing entities (i.e., current land uses and structures), as well as for future growth and development. The ordinance is derived from the Comprehensive Plan. You may view the Ordinance on-line on the Home Page. (IMPORTANT NOTE: the version currently on the website MAY be out of date.
