Interested persons are always welcome to apply, however there are currently no openings in Law Enforcement Division at the Leelanau County Sheriff's Office.

Minimum Requirements for a Jail Corrections Deputy:

U.S. citizen; 21 years old; Graduation from an accredited high school -Associates Degree preferred, Computer experience helpful; Veterans are encouraged.  pass written test, oral (Board) interview, physical fitness test, background investigation, drug screening,  medical and psychological evaluations.  Firearms experience helpful as qualification is required within the first year.
