Leland Township maintains numerous parks and water access sites. All facilities are open to the public at no cost from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Parks - Hancock Field (Union Street, Leland): Softball and baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts, bleachers, skateboard ramps, grandstand, picnic pavilions, drinking water, parking, concession stands.
- Bartholomew Park and Nedow’s Bay (foot of Pearl Street, Leland): Lake Leelanau beach front, lifeguard, docks, grills, firepit, picnic table, boat launch.
- John G. Suelzer East Leland Memorial Park (County Road 641, East Leland): Boat launch, beach front, parking, dock, picnic area, playground, grills, firepit.
- Schneider’s Beach (end of Popp Road at Lake Leelanau): Sandy beach, dock, parking, picnic area, grills, firepit, boat launch.
- Grove Park (Gertrude Street south of M204, Lake Leelanau): Tennis courts, picnic tables, shelter, playground, parking, water, basketball court.
- Provemont Pond Recreation Area (Popp Road south of M204, Lake Leelanau): 90 acres of undeveloped woodland, fishing pond.
- Lake Leelanau Baseball Diamond (County Road 641 south of M204, Lake Leelanau): Baseball field, dugout, parking, water.
