Lake Michigan Beach Park
Empire Anchor [Click here to view full size picture] Lake Michigan Beach Park is located west of the downtown area. The beach and park is a public park. It has a pavillon that is available on a first come first serve basis. We also have one of the newest working lighthouse on the Great Lakes (see more below).

This sign is dedicated to the beach for the historical site of the once operated Empire Lumber Company. There are remnants of other historical landmarks down at the beach.
