The Leelanau County Commission on Aging is a visible focal point for senior services.  We demonstrate collaboration through coordinated care and open communication with other service providers.  We will continually measure our impact to adjust to the changing needs of seniors while being fiscally responsible.  Seniors of greatest need are our priority and we promote healthy lifestyles through active social programs for all seniors.  To help accomplish this, the LCCOA is accepting Requests for Program Development from individuals and companies that would like to avail seniors 60 and over in Leelanau County a service that they believe is needed.  For more information, please contact the LCCOA office at 231-256-8121.  The deadline for requests is August 15th, 2011.
