Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator The Village of Suttons Bay, is seeking qualified applicants
to operate their new wastewater treatment plant. Under the general supervision of the Village Manager, this person is responsible to provide services for the wastewater and water department, including testing, monitoring, maintenance and repairs to the plant including its grounds, and monitoring for regulation compliance and function. This person must have a level B State of Michigan Wastewater Operator’s license. Have or obtain a level S3 and/or D3 State of Michigan water licenses, (desired but not be required). A minimum two years experience in wastewater mechanical plant operations. This is a fulltime position and includes a benefit Package; salary negotiable. The Village is an E.O.E. and a Drug Free workplace.

The Village Council meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m at the Suttons Bay Township offices at 321 St. Joseph Street.
The Village Planning Commission meets the 2nd Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. with meetings held at the Township office (see above).
